Erick F. Thomas Sr. built the Advanced Cocoon Platform (ACP) from first principles — studying how the human body fails in crash environments, how medical positioning affects survivability, and how engineering can eliminate injuries that traditional crash safety technology cannot prevent. His work began with a simple question: Why are we still protecting people with systems designed decades ago, when modern engineering can do more? ACP became the answer.
